We are committed to helping you complete the Direct Access Scheme so you can hold a full, unrestricted motorbike licence. As the only approved training body (ATB) in Rochdale, you can rest assured that you’ll receive only the highest standard of training.
When you train with us, we always go at a pace that suits you. You will be given constant encouragement and professional advice, ensuring you build the confidence needed to pass your tests while never being pushed into exercises you are uncomfortable with.
The Stages of DAS:
- Module 1: A series of low-speed and high-speed off-road exercises.
- Module 2: A 40-minute practical road ride testing your reaction to real traffic.
- Progressive Access: Moving from A2 to Full DAS after 2 years of riding.
Who Can Take DAS?
You must be 24 years or older to go straight for your full licence. Alternatively, if you are 21+ and have held an A2 licence for 2 years, you can take the progressive path.
Essential Documents
To start your DAS training, you must hold a current CBT Certificate and a valid Motorcycle Theory Test Certificate. Please bring both to your sessions.
The Full Licence Edge
Holding a full Category A licence means no "L" plates, the ability to carry pillion passengers, and motorway access on any capacity motorcycle.
