If you wish to become a DVSA certified instructor, qualified to deliver CBT courses, instruct on the Direct Access Scheme (DAS), or even open your own Approved Training Body (ATB), we have the course for you.
The motorcycle training industry is strictly regulated by the DVSA. Our training package at Castleton Rochdale has proven to be highly successful, with candidates consistently achieving very high first-time pass rates in their official assessments.
The Three Stages of Qualification:
- Down Trained: Permitted to train at CBT level only within the ATB that trained you.
- CBT1: Pass a rigorous two-day DVSA assessment to train at CBT level and down-train others.
- DAS: A further half-day assessment allowing you to train Direct Access in addition to CBT.
The Law & Regulation
Motorcycle training is highly regulated. We guide you through the complicated rules relating to age, power, and licensing to ensure you are fully compliant with DVSA standards.

Our instructor training package is designed for results. We take pride in our candidates' ability to pass their DVSA assessments on the first attempt thanks to our thorough preparation.
